Semester 6 - AutoCad

Through this module, I have learnt to use the main component of the CAD system. I am so happy I can master the basic skill of the computer operating system and manage to produce some simple drawings.

 

we have assigned with two projects. The project no 1 is to to introduces the students to basic AutoCAD commands by producing a "paper cutting art" style design. The task of this project is to chose a paper cutting pattern and reconstruct the pattern using AutoCAD. Students also required to create a blog to show the progressive evidence mof the working process.

Project No 2 involves architectural drawings production. Students are required to produce a floor plans, roof plan, elevations and cross sections from the selected architectural design sketches. Generating a spreadsheet to show the floor areas from the AutoCad drawings is required as well.

After all, I want to thank the lecturer, Mr Koh for teaching me this module. He is always patient and friendly when teaching, especially to the student like me, who have no experince in using AutoCad before and totally lost in the first class. But thanks for his guidance and step by step teaching, now I able to master the basic skill of AutoCad.

Although all these assignments are very time consuming, but I am really enjoy when doing them especially when my final products are completed.
